Cosc is the Irish National Office for the Prevention of Domestic, Sexual and Gender-based Violence. Cosc is an Irish word meaning “stop” or “prevent” and reflects the organisation’s vision of reducing the incidence of abuse against women, men and older people in Irish society.
In June 2008, Two Spires was appointed, following a public tender process, as the communications advisors and project managers charged with assisting Cosc in the formulation and execution of their communications plan.
Cosc and Two Spires were involved in the planning and execution of a National Awareness Campaign "Your Silence Feeds the Violence" that aired in January 2009.
