The latest iteration of an information campaign intended to reach all Internet users throughout the Island of Ireland to educate them on how to protect themselves from online threats such as malware, identity theft, phishing and spyware. The campaign was sponsored by Dept. Communications, Energy and Natural Resources, Dept. Finance & Personnel Northern Ireland, Microsoft, BT, O2, Vodafone, eircom, Irish Banking Federation and RTE.
Two Spires was responsible for the project management of the entire campaign and bringing it to market in a short timeframe.
The campaign ran during February 2008 and involved TV and radio ads, creation of an information site (www.makeitsecure.org) and distribution of almost 1M information booklets in addition to a comprehensive PR and media outreach strategy.
